Nestled in the alpine charm of Veysonnaz, there’s a forest-to-table experience waiting for you and your nature-loving crew: the Mushroom Workshop Walk. And we’re here for it.

Veysonnaz’s forests, meadows, and mossy corners are practically bursting with mushrooms this time of year. But here’s the thing — not all mushrooms are friends. Which is why this gentle, guided workshop is the perfect way to learn what’s safe, what’s delicious, and where the best mushroom-hunting spots might sort of be (local foragers keep their secrets, of course — can’t blame ‘em 😉).

🥾 What to Expect

This isn’t some lecture — it’s a 3-hour walk in the fresh mountain air, with a friendly expert who knows their porcini from their poisonous. You’ll learn about the forest ecosystem, how to identify different types of mushrooms, and how to harvest them respectfully. It’s hands-on, earthy fun for adults and teens (ages 10+ welcome!).

Bring:

• Sturdy shoes (you’re going off-road mama)
• Weather-appropriate layers (this is the Alps, after all)
• A basket or cloth bag (no plastic please — mushrooms need to breathe)
• A small knife (for snipping your finds like a foraging pro)
