10-Day Itinerary Swiss Family Ski Holiday

Congrats on choosing a family trip to the Alps! Here is a sample travel itinerary to give you some inspiration. Just keep in mind that many places book up quickly. So if you have your heart set on a certain experience or restaurant, it’s helpful to make reservations ahead of time or choose a Plan B option in case your first choice is not available.
Day 1: Arrival in Zurich & Transfer to Zermatt
- Arrive at Zurich Airport and take a scenic train ride to Zermatt.
- Check into a family-friendly hotel like Hotel Firefly, Hotel Alpenblick Zermatt, or Riffelalp Resort.
- Explore the car-free village and enjoy dinner at Restaurant Schäferstube.
Day 2: Skiing in Zermatt
